| On December 21, 2011, in Çırağan Palace, Istanbul, a meeting called “Meeting of Turkish Lift Industry With Building Producers” is held under auspices of his Excellency Nihat Ergün, the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. In the meeting sponsored by our Company among others, the representatives of TOKİ (Mass Housing Administration), the Union of Municipalities, the Construction Employers’ Union and the lift sector exchanged views and ideas with a view to encouraging the manufacturing in Turkey of all lifts to be erected on the multi-storey buildings to be constructed within the frame of the urban transformation projects in such manner to meet the expectations of the Construction Industry, and also encouraging the buyers to prefer local products. Our General Manager Sefa Targıt, speaking in the Panel as a representative of our sector, mentioned about the importance of lifts in a building, and gave a definition of domestic goods, and expressed his views about the progress and future of the sector. |
